Methods and practices
The nexus between theory and practice that inform each other is critical in the pursuit of developing alternatives. The methods and practices are developed from the practical experiences and traditional knowledge of small-scale farmers. These include practices such as seed conservation or seedbanks, agro forestry, intercropping and water conservation. The basis of this is to empower small-scale farmers for self emancipation. Cooperation and solidarity in production is an important edifice in the methods and practice.
